Collaborates with clinic staff to provide efficient, accurate and courteous service for JMH patients. Ensures correct and accurate phlebotomy procedures are performed on patients and provides timely collection and preparation of specimens for laboratory testing for all clinic patients. Communicates appropriately and effectively with employees and all associated departments. Assists patients by providing information, services and assistance. Performs administrative front and back office tasks including, but not limited to, chart preparation and appointment scheduling.Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
Experience:
1 - 2 years Laboratory - Phlebotomist Required and
Vital Signs Preferred and
Healthcare - Electrocardiogram (EKG) Preferred and
Laboratory - Pediatric Phlebotomy Preferred and
1 year Clerical - Administrative Support Required
Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
CPT1 Certified Phlebotomy Tech I - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service Required
CPT2 Certified Phlebotomy Tech II - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service Preferred
Skills:
Must be organized, customer and patient focused while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be skilled in supply management, efficient resource management.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and an excellent phone manner.
EMR or other Computer skills required
Proficiency in EPIC preferred

08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$32.87 - $44.38HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
