Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer – Ancillary, Emergency & Specialized Care Services, the Vice President - Ancillary Services provides executive leadership and continuously improves operations, quality and finances for Ancillary and Safety Services (Food & Nutrition Services, PBX/ Operators/ Communications, Parking Services, Guest Services, Safety), Clinical Lab Services (Blood Bank, Lab Courier, Microbiology, Pathology, Point of Care Testing), Facilities Management (Plant Operations, Engineering, Sustainability, Space Management), Spiritual Care, Pulmonary Services (Pulmonary Function, Respiratory Therapy), Imaging Services (Bone Health, CT, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Outpatient Imaging, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound), Support Services (Biomedical Services, Materials Management, Distribution & Supply Chain, Environmental Services, Healthcare Technology, Patient Transport, Lift Team, Printing and Duplicating) Rehabilitation Services (Inpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Neuropsychology, Outpatient Rehabilitation). Direct reports include: Laboratories Director, Imaging Director, Facilities Management Director, Ancillary and Safety Director, Spiritual Care Director, Support Services Director, Pulmonary Director, and Rehabilitation Director integrated across the entire JMH system encompassing 3 hospitals: JMH Walnut Creek, JMH Concord and JMH Behavioral Health, all outpatient centers, and all administrative and support locations.Education:
Master's Degree - Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or Related Field - Required
Experience:
7 years Management - Experience including managing multiple disciplines across Health System in Healthcare Operations - Required
Experience in managing staff, budgets, performance improvement and project management in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects with emphasis on customer service andHigh Reliability principles
HICS / NIMS experience and practice
LEAN certification highly preferred, experience with Kaizens, Value Streams, operational efficiency & waste reduction
Skills:
Knowledge of regulations related to OSHA, HCAI, CDPH, ACR, CAP, HRSA, URAC, ACHC, CMS and TJC.
Strong in contract negotiation, establishing and creating positive relationships, analytical and critical thinking with an ability to effectively and accurately analyze resource requirements for existing and future initiatives.
Highly effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication with emphasis on relationships and patient-centeredness.
Ability to describe and explain essential elements of Environment of Care as well as complex analysis to a wide range of audiences, including formal presentations and informal meetings.
Service Line development and strategy
Strong skill and experience in Supply Chain, strategic sourcing and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs)
Seasoned in ambulatory operations, including access strategies, MGMA benchmarking, KPIs and growth and contraction of services.
High degree of financial acumen

Exempt Salaried (United States of America)Pay Range:
$301,600.00 - $452,400.00SalaryNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
