This position has responsibility to coordinate and conduct the clinical and business training for employees working in the outpatient practices. Develops training plans and training materials as needed.Education:
Vocational Program Medical Assistant Program - Accredited Preferred - or -
Associate's Degree Health Sciences Preferred
Experience:
5 years Ambulatory Healthcare Required - and -
12 months Information Technology - Healthcare Technology Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required - and -
Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants Preferred
Skills:
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers (i.e. staff, peers, managers, medical staff, community groups, affiliated facilities)
Advance d organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Knowledge or experience in clinical/business operations
Knowledge of Medical terminology.
Able to communicate clearly using good written and verbal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
Health system electronic medical record experience preferred such as EPIC or Mychart.
